

Amazon.com is an e-commerce pioneer that started by selling books. Amazon has separate shopping sites for the United States, United Kingdom and Ireland, France, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Australia, Brazil, Japan, China, India and Mexico. Turkish language option is offered on the Germany site. Although Amazon does not have a Türkiye site, various Amazon sites ship to Turkey within the scope of international shipping.
Amazon’s biggest breakthrough in recent years has been the launch of the electronic book reader Kindle. The device, currently sold under the name Kindle 3, has become Amazon’s best-selling product. Additionally, the Amazon website has a very large archive of electronic books that can be read via Kindle. Currently, Kindle products and e-books are not sold in Turkey.
