Although it seems like everything started with the pandemic, it didn’t really start that way.:) As you have read in my personal history, I contributed to the production of many commercial enterprises for 10-odd years while I was a part of the Bursa Science and Technology Center, and I had the opportunity to do business with many of them. I even took on the responsibility of being the idea father of a sufficient number of commercial entities to cross the fingers of one hand and took part in the management staffs. First of all, I want to say this because Amazon E-Commerce, like every business, has shown me that; if you do not have a background where you have learned business discipline in your background, it is unlikely that you will be successful in e-commerce.

That’s why when I was still working at BTM, there was always a corner of my mind and heart to pursue a commercial venture. Let’s say the pandemic was also instrumental in this. Almost in the first week of the start of a short work permit that would last about a year, I started watching videos on Youtube and taking notes. We even went and bought ourselves a white board, started drawing our own graphs and clusters with red blue green black pencils. How much capital was required? Where should we have started? Which cards should we have used? What did Amazon expect from us? What rules did it take to be very careful not to violate? As the days passed, we started telling our entire circle of friends and family about our plan. First we went and cashed in our wedding jewelry. Because we believed or were convinced that our families wouldn’t like us to “quit our salaried jobs and do this job” in the first place 🙂 I also told another friend I’ve known for many years, and we became a capital partner with him, and now we had a Singapore Amazon store, the moments and nights when we were the first suspend when the first sale came, the first time Amazon didn’t give us our money, are still in my mind like yesterday.

I had brought what I had learned from Singapore to the UAE, from there to making the mistake of buying an Amazon account, from there to telling our families about the current situation when there was not enough capital, and from there to our journey towards receiving contributions to our capital, to the point of putting what I had learned into UDEMY as an education. My Shopify Dropshipping training, which was my first training, had received a lot of attention, which was gratifying. Because the value of the correct information was really known in an environment where the correct information could not be reached from one hand.
